The best AiSensy alternatives

By WordBite Editorial. Updated 16 October 2026.

AiSensy is one of the best-known WhatsApp tools in India, especially for broadcasts. Two things push teams to look around. Its per-message rates sit above Meta's: ₹1.09 for marketing and ₹0.145 for utility, against Meta's ₹0.8631 and ₹0.115, which is about 26% more. And those charges come out of a prepaid wallet, so you top up before every big campaign.

At small volumes the difference is minor. At tens of thousands of messages a month, it can cost more than the subscription.

1. Tadlo AI

Our top pick

Best for: No markup and no wallet

Tadlo AI adds no markup. Meta bills message charges straight to your own WhatsApp Business Account, which Tadlo creates inside your Meta business account, and Tadlo charges a flat plan priced on unique contacts reached. There is no wallet to keep topped up.

Broadcasts on Growth and above show the cost before you send, and opted-out customers are left out automatically. For D2C brands it adds abandoned cart recovery, COD to prepaid and order updates from Shopify and WooCommerce. AiSensy users who also sell on Instagram get one more thing: comments on posts can open a WhatsApp chat.

Price: Free forever plan with up to 10 messages a day. Starter ₹999, Growth ₹2,499, Pro ₹5,999 and Scale ₹11,999 a month, priced on unique contacts engaged per month. Meta's message charges are billed by Meta directly to your own account, and Tadlo adds no markup. Prices exclude GST.

Strengths

  • No markup on Meta's message charges: Meta bills your own WhatsApp Business Account directly, and Tadlo only charges a flat plan
  • Built for D2C: abandoned cart recovery, COD to prepaid nudges and order updates from Shopify and WooCommerce (Growth plan and above)
  • Instagram comments to WhatsApp chats, which most WhatsApp-only tools cannot do
  • Priced on unique people reached, not on every message, so you can follow up without counting sends
  • Number health checks every 15 minutes, gradual ramp-up for new numbers and automatic opt-out handling
  • Your WhatsApp Business Account is created inside your own Meta business account, so it stays yours

Limitations

  • Newer than AiSensy, WATI or Interakt, with a shorter track record
  • Commerce automations start on the Growth plan (₹2,499 a month)
  • Tadlo AI is onboarding brands in stages, and you request access on its WhatsApp page.

Price: Gupshup's self-serve WhatsApp API plan charges $0.001 per message on top of Meta's message fees, which are billed at actuals. Enterprise pricing is on request.

Strengths

  • Small fixed fee
  • Meta's fees at actuals

What AiSensy does well

Before you switch

  1. Spend down or note your wallet balance; check how AiSensy handles unused credit.
  2. Make sure your WhatsApp Business Account and number can move, ideally because they sit in your own Meta business account.
  3. Export contacts with their opt-in records.
  4. List your approved templates so you can resubmit them on the new provider.
  5. Run one small campaign on the new tool and compare the invoice with Meta's rate card.
